The screen backlight also illuminates a small slit around the edges. No video-out or in-built mic; battery not removable. Microdrive based storage. 2gb $99, 4gb $149; probably a sold at a loss to promote iTMS and capture market. Sorry for the overexposed photo but I was in a bit of a hurry.   |

Apple already loses or makes almost no money on iTMS, the iPod is how they make their money. |

| "Backlight" would be part of "Settings", not a separate list. Also very un-Apple design. Clumsy, ugly. At least the guy has clean fingers! |

looks like you know nothing about the iPod. the Backlight setting is in fact on the main menu... |
