who and what is nova•luna?
willi
on keyboards, brian peters on percussion
and rythym guitar, ric gonzalez on bass,
and Mr. norman Z on the drum set. Also playing
with the band are horns such as Marcus,
Dan Peters, and Buck Rodgers on alto/tenor
sax, trombone and trombone respectively,
and other musicians.

how long have they been around?
brian
and willi have been playing together since
the sunset 5 days, but nova•luna started
in earnest back in July 2001 with brian,
ric, and willi.

what does nova•luna mean?
nova
luna means 'new moon' in many languages.
however, a supernova is when an old sun
or star explodes, and in the case of nova•luna,
nova is meant to be the sun. sun and moon,
a celestial oxymoron, if you will. or something.

what is that character that keeps showing
up in between nova•luna?
on
a computer its just supposed to be a dot,
although in the full logo it is a ying-yang
with the om over it, a 'yom' symbol.

and about that logo..
pictures
of the sun from two different light bands
combined on the left are coming around the
moon on the right. a pretty sight that would
never exist in nature as far as we know,
as the sun is orders of magnitude larger
in size compared to the moon.
the
text is made out of pictures of the sun
and moon as well, with a ying-yang with
the om over it, a 'yom' symbol, in between
the two.
